SALARY SCHEDULE REVIEW COMMITTEE

The parties agree to the formation of a Salary Schedule Review Committee to review the salary schedule framework contained in Appendix A of this Agreement.  The Committee shall begin work by January 1, 2015 and complete its work by January 1, 2016.  The goal and purpose of the Committee will be to recommend a new salary schedule, consistent with recent state-wide Illinois pension reform legislation.  Their recommendation will be considered by the bargaining teams in the next collective bargaining agreement between the parties.  The Board and the LFEA shall appoint equal members to the Salary Schedule Review Committee.  The Committee shall endeavor to reach consensus.  The Committee shall have no authority other than to issue a report to the parties.  If no consensus is achieved, then the members of the Committee will issue separate reports.
